Why knowing how to color is important.
Hey everyone!
So I wanted to take this time to give some insight into coloring and why I feel it is super important for making a comic look good.
Now people who know me know just how much it bothers me when I see bad coloring. As a Artist who has done his own coloring, I find it to be a very important finishing touch. If done wrong/badly, it can really ruin a page or book, in my eyes.
A few things I want to help point out to new colorists.
1.Learn shading and values. How to make figures and environments look 3D should be what you aim for. A good colorist can even use flat colors to make a image seem 3D.
2.Lighting and color scheme
